Prior to the start up of Easymail Interactive, Michael was involved in the start up of Yesmail.com, a CMGI owned company based in Chicago. Prior to internet start ups, he was one of the youngest commercial lenders in the history of Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati, Ohio - rated the number one bank in the country by Salomon Smith Barney.

Michael holds an undergraduate degree with honors in Marketing from the University of Kentucky, has attended Wirtschafts School of Economics in Vienna, Austria and Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio for his MBA.

William Holmes Advisory Board
William Holmes currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Hosea Worldwide. The firm operates as an international transportation company that specializes in the shipping and rigging of heavy equipment.

William has served on Hosea Worldwide's Board of Directors for the last 16 years as well as over 8 different subsidiary and philanthropic boards throughout Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. William serves as the Senior Board Member of Easymail Interactive, Inc. and has since it's inception. Previous expertise involved public accounting, oil refining and waste management.

Lee Thibodeau Advisory Board
Sr. Manager in Corporate Marketing with Procter & Gamble. Lee Thibodeau is responsible for the Marketing site on the Company's Intranet. He has spent his career leveraging systems technology in varied roles with Fortune 500 companies including general accounting, treasury, online sales and marketing systems, corporate planning and forecasting, telemarketing systems, marketing strategy and planning, cause-related marketing, knowledge dissemination, and online work environments. Lee studied engineering, accounting, and computer science at McGill University, Montreal prior to completing a B.S. in General Studies at Pace University, NY.

Chip Crowther Advisory Board
Chip Crowther is currently Managing Director for Hillenbrand Capital Partners (HCP).  At HCP, Chip is responsible for the investment, banking, legal, insurance, estate and tax planning affairs of Hillenbrand Industries’ (NYSE: HB) retired Chief Executive Officer and his family.  

Prior to forming HCP, Chip was an associate with Blue Chip Venture Company (Blue Chip).  While at Blue Chip, Mr. Crowther sourced, evaluated, and recommended private companies for investment.  He worked closely with several of Blue Chip’s existing portfolio companies assisting senior management with various business initiatives including competitive strategy, business development, market positioning, key management & employee recruiting, financial analysis & planning, and corporate restructuring.

Prior to joining Blue Chip, Mr. Crowther spent six years with MFS Investment Management (MFS) in Boston , MA .  MFS manages $150 billion in equity and fixed income assets for individual and institutional investors worldwide.  He served MFS in a variety of roles, including fundamentally analyzing equity investments in the specialty retail, education, and internet/e-commerce industries, and marketing MFS equity products to the institutional marketplace.

Phil Duncan Advisory Board
Phil Duncan serves as the Managing Director of the Cincinnati office of Landor and Associates. Landor and Associates serves as the world's most accomplished and internationally recognized branding and design consultancy.

Prior to becoming Managing Director of the Cincinnati office, Phil spent more than four years managing the account of Landor's largest client: Procter & Gamble. In that role, he oversaw brand strategy development, deployment, global resource development and client satisfaction efforts. Phil developed his expertise in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble, where his responsibilities included developing overall brand strategies, creating advertising campaigns, and leading brand identity, benefit visualization work, and new product initiatives.

Steve Scherer Advisory Board
Steven J. Scherer serves as a Vice President of KMK Consulting. Steve has extensive experience providing financial and legal advice to a diverse group of businesses and individuals including entrepreneurs, start-up operations, established companies and non-profit organizations.

Prior to joining KMK Consulting, Steve worked for the Cincinnati-based life sciences venture capital firm of Senmed Medical Ventures. At Senmed, he structured and negotiated numerous private placements of equity securities, strategic alliances, and technology transfer transactions. Steve has also worked for Sencorp (a Cincinnati-based diversified holding company) and began his professional career with the commercial banking division of Chicago-based, The Northern Trust Company.

William P. Cox Advisory Board

William P. Cox is a sophisticated global finance executive with over fifteen years of experience that includes eight years as the CFO of a privately held management buyout, four of those years as Co-COO, and ten years of progressive experience in public accounting.

Bill has consulted with multinational organizations for KPMG Peat Marwick in the areas of acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Cox directed audit projects in the Peoples Republic of China, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and the United States, including on-site supervision and overall engagement management. From 1990 through 1992 he was on international assignment in London, England, consulting with Satchi & Satchi and Enterprise Oil. Successful acquisitions encompass nearly a dozen leveraged buyouts including SMG from Chiquita Brands International, Elf Enterprise from Occidental Petroleum (GB), and the spin-off of TAI from E.I. DuPont de Nemours. Bill has extensive experience in manufacturing, retail / wholesale distribution, leisure / entertainment, oil & gas, and specialty chemicals. With KPMG Peat Marwick, his SEC experience included six initial public offerings (IPO’s) including Cambrex Corp. and BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust.


In 1994 Bill joined SMG as part of the team that executed a leverage buyout of the Beef division of Chiquita. As the CEO and CFO, he led all finance and treasury operations, accounting and tax, MIS / IT. His leadership role in the exit process encompassed establishing a strategic sale to Premium Foods Group in 2000, and generating an outstanding IRR over a six-year period for this leverage buyout investment.


Bill earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1983. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Kentucky. Bill is married and has two children and enjoys an active lifestyle that includes physical fitness, golf, horse racing / breeding, and white water rafting.

Cynthia Crane Advisor
Cynthia Crane, in addition to being a professor, is a communications consultant, with ten years of communications experience that includes promotions, advertising, training, direct marketing (email / postal), and all facets of web site design. Cynthia has a B.A. from Wittenberg University, an M.A. from Xavier University, and a Ph.D from The University of Cincinnati.
