approximately 4.5 Million Hep C sufferers
in the US today, or
1.5% of the general population. The
incidence among Hep C
sufferers for this study was estimated
at 11%. This means we were working with an
overall net incidence of
.165%!
Screening criteria:
1. Live in US
2. Age 31-60
3. Do not have HIV
4. Have health insurance of some kind (including medicare/medicaid)
5. Have been diagnosed with Hep C
6. Have never taken any prescription medications to treat Hep C
7. (Satisfied with Hep C doctor and involved in decisions about their
health) OR (Satisfied with Hep C doctor, not involved in decisions
about their health, and feel Hep C patients with past drug/alcohol
use are treated well by healthcare system)
Knowing the effectiveness of 35 Global
panels, this client turned to Easymail
Interactive to aid in the collection goal
of 150 completed surveys.
For this particular study, men and woman
must express that they have
the above condition to be
eligible to take the online survey. Our
client was also
looking to obtain a diverse sample in
regards to gender and age.
SOLUTION
After reviewing the projects goals and
target audience, Easymail Interactive
tapped into its previous
campaign experience with online surveys.
Through its extensive
database detail and knowledge of how
effective each panel is within
this type of audience,
Easymail was able to recommend a panel
that had produced
excellent results.
RESULTS
Equipped with Easymail's advice, the
client was able to launch targeted emails
to Hep- C pre-identified
individuals. As a way to entice consumers
to complete the
survey, we offered a chance of a grand
prize drawing of $5,000.00 at the end
of the month. Seven
days after the launch of the campaign we
had 161 completes! This
high completion rate enabled our client to
analyze more than enough data
that to extract a very diverse audience
and impress their client with the
overall turnaround time.
